Summer Lovin' Part II

Nearing the end of summer is always painful for me.  I'm not too sad yet because I have a very liberal definition of summer (May 1 - Sept 30) and there is still a beach vacation to look forward to in two weeks!  We have many good memories of the past few months (see Summer Lovin' Part I) and a bazillion pictures to document it.

Here are some highlights from summer's second half:

We watched the sea lion feeding at the Central Park Zoo from afar.  Tiger Cub was too tired for us to cough up $24 to actually enter the zoo but maybe next time.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch followed by a family nap in Central Park.

Tiger Cub bathed in the kitchen sink too many times to count.

We took our baby to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Because why not?  It's the finest cultural enrichment available without boarding a plane.

Our friends came over and we put all of our cubs on the couch for a group shot.

We had a successful family date night at our favorite local pizza restaurant where we ate pizza with a side of rice cake...

...and a side of table.   (And building our immune systems in the process.)

Yes, we're into solid foods now.  More on this great adventure in the next post!
