Early Toddler-Hood Love

No matter what age Tiger Cub is, I don't want him to get any older.  But now I'm extremely serious:  TC, if you're reading this, DON'T GET ANY OLDER.

At 15-16 months, we've hit a sweet spot age.  Tiger Cub is sleeping through the entire night consistently and taking a rock star nap every afternoon.  He is not teething or sick and doesn't yet display behavior that falls into the "terrible two" category.

I'm hastily writing this before things change.

TC is basically lots of cuteness and laughs occasionally interrupted by a mini tantrum or mild babysitter anxiety.  True, he's not a big eater and still prefers to drink his milk out a bottle instead of a sippy cup (we're far from perfect).

But these faces!

Gotta love a little boy who wants to help with the copy machine!

And we're into animal sounds.

"You guys keep the bottles coming and I'll keep sleeping 11 hours straight at night."

Fine.

Grandpa Returns!

Grandpa visited and he and his favorite 1-year-old did everything together for a week:  grocery shopping, playground visiting, and picking out desserts to name a few of their activities.  "Grandpa Nanny" shopped, cooked, and juggled childcare with skills that could command a respectable salary in our city.

 Snack break at the park.

Can I have that for breakfast?

Swinging pals

Gym time shenanigans.

Train!  And wind!

The first evening of his visit was the only one possible for us to "go out" because of Randy's work schedule.  So when my dad arrived at 7:30 pm, we put the Tiger Cub to bed and took off for our second date night of the year, leaving hot-off-the-airplane Grandpa behind with casserole leftovers to heat up.  Desperate much?

Hello adult time!
